Need some entertainment?

I have recently become a fan of a local band by the name of Try Me Bicycle. I was first introduced to them at the Roosevelt Row event in Downtown Phoenix, and have been grovin' to their songs ever since! These guys have a sound unlike anything else out there right now with their fusion of soulful words and laid back rhythms, I call them the love child of Jason Mraz and an old school (pre-fulltime drug haze) Bob Dylan, with a little jazz twist. They describe themselves like this: "Try Me Bicycle is a trio whose quiet, organic music evokes the feeling of day-tripping and long drives at twilight; the recollective course of the vagabond on holiday.... a sophisticated blend of modern folk, jazz, and improvisation. Along with the collage of styles, the combination of a warm production and fluid musicianship make their sound that much more intriguing and believable." And with a lead singer who has the smoldering looks of Joaquin Phoenix and a voice as smooth as silk, what more can a girl ask for?? Well luckily for a fan like me, they have booked an on-going gig at the new Sheraton Hotel near ASU. I highly recommend everyone checking them out not only for the music, but also for the tasty food at the Sheraton and the hip vibe in the lounge. A night spent here will definitely be a good time for you and your friends! These guys play Fridays at the Sheraton Lounge, with their next show on Halloween starting at 7 and going until 10. So if you are looking for a mellow Friday night with great music, good food and an inviting atmosphere, you have found your place! Enjoy!
